My boyfriend wants me back again literally after insulting me using bad words should we give people second chance?

Few days back we had a big fight and that day he literally scolded me and said that I m a bitch and even said that he can get any girl he want but still he want to be with me so he chose me on that day he said break up I got really deeply hurt by his words.
After 2 days as my guy best friend he's like a brother to me (my boyfriend know him well that he's my friend) is leaving USA I went to meet him for the last time and I said this to my boyfriend that I came to meet (even though we are on a break I jjst felt like saying) that's it he literally used very bad language and said I go and sleep around with people I m bitch ( and used very abusive language) and later he came to my home and said to my mom that my mindset is not good. It really broke me I couldn't take those words because no one in my life spoke to me like that. But later he called and he's saying sorry I said them in anger but I love you I couldn't loose you I want you in my life because of anger I said those I didn't mean them. I really loved him But I m deeply hurt I just can't take it if he repeat it again. Does he deserve a second chance?

I've seen similar scenarios play out before and most of the time it continues. If you truly believe he deserves a second chance that's okay, but if it happens again just drop him. If he does it once he might do it again, but if he does it twice he's definitely gonna continue. Just keep that in mind ok, hope everything works out ok for you.
