Long story short, I’m in college and I was talking to this older man. When I left for summer break we broke up because he couldn’t do long distance and he had reconnected with an old friend. He also added he didn’t think they’d be compatible and to text him when I got back down here. I wasn’t really considering texting him when I was at home because I live in a big city and I was having fun meeting new people and going out on exciting dates. Now that I’m back lol it’s kind of boring down here so I kind of want to text him. I’m not in love with him or anything.
My only worry is that he’ll decline. I guess the worst thing he can say is no. I also don’t want to get left on read after I ask lol. I got a new number so he could just not respond after I tell him who I am. This sounds silly but these are really the only concerns.

P. S - I do have friends that I hang out with down here so I’m not completely lonely or anything. It’s more so about filling a sexual void. It’s kinda frustrating to seek out someone new.
