I like both, I might prefer a more substantial conversation sure, but I like both... and it really depends on the timing and the person, and most of all the mood...

there are times for both, even with the same person... even a more casual chat or small talk can take you to a more meaningful or deeper conversation, and this is good too when it happens... or it could go the other way as well, a serious conversation sometimes takes more of you and eventually you need to lighten up the atmosphere so you can switch to something else that is well, lighter... so I definitely can do both and I like both.
