Be yourself.

Be friendly and outgoing. Smile at people, say hi, make eye contact... give off that approachable vibe and the vibe that you seem interested in people and they'll be more apt to ask you out.

Go and do the things in life you enjoy and have passion for. That way you'll be more apt to meet people who share those interests and passions with you.

When dating be easy going and fun. Don't take yourself too seriously, laugh at yourself.
Move slow. Don't be in a hurry to share too much about yourself too soon. Don't be in a rush to get physically intimate too soon.

If you share your life's story you'll scare people off. If you have sex too soon you'll attract guys that just want to have sex with you as a conquest. They went to sample your body but once they've done that they move on. The slower you take things the more you'll weed out the players and the ones that care about you more deeply and you may want a future with you will more often be the ones who keep dating you through the "take it slow" period.

Why would you want someone who is upset or ready to bail when you've had 2 or 3 dates and haven't had sex yet?
