My boyfriend only cares about money?

So yesterday was my bf’s birthday and I bought him 6 things he liked, but he also wanted some money to buy a pc set for gaming. I promised him that I was going to give him the money but I couldn’t (he wanted me to give him $1300). First he got so mad at me saying that he expected to have the money and that he was disappointed with me. And today he posted an instagram story saying “cash app me” just because he wants the pc gaming set. He works and has money, I honestly don’t get why he wants random people to cash app him just because he wants a pc set. And even worse, on HIS birthday he’s saying this. Is this normal?

My advice? Dump his immature ass and run for the hills

How old is he? If he works, has money and still behaves like a child, then do you really see a future with an overgrown child? If he behaves like this now, just imagine how worse it'd become as time goes on. Don't you think he *may* turn abusive in the future? He's obsessed with gaming and money. Sounds like a teenager to me. Don't you think he'd demand more money from you in the future? Do you really want such a boyfriend?

Look, I know that its going to be super hard, but have you tried talking about this to him? if not, then highly suggest you do, but I doubt it'd work though. If he doesn't listen and stays adamant and is obsessed with money, then I'm sorry to say, but I feel like the relationship is doomed. It's doomed to end. Please break up with him before its too late or you're gonna be broke and unhappy in a toxic relationship. Hugs <3
