2.3K opinions shared on Dating topic. Nope. As long as the job isn't immoral and doesn't require her to travel and be away from home for days at a time then I don't care.
I'd hope she is in good shape and can go on long bike rides with me.14 Reply
Asker+1 yI feel like guys just slowly stop talking to me when they know I've lived in another country, travelled well and fitter than them
- +1 y
Many people that aren't into fitness will gradually lose interest in someone that is into fitness. Partly because they can't keep up, partly because it makes them feel bad about themselves when they are lazy.
Try finding someone that is interested in fitness, maybe into the same kinds of physical activities you like doing.
Asker+1 yYeah I noticed he never really showed his body of that much with me when we were sending pics
- +1 y
I find it difficult to find someone that is both into physical stuff (would ride bikes with me and possibly do sporty stuff) and is also into playing board games and stuff like that. Pretty much good clean fun without any drugs or alcohol involved.
It seems to me that the majority of people are too lazy to do physical stuff very often. I finally found friends that enjoy physical stuff a couple years ago, otherwise just about everyone I knew was lazy. lol

I've been around many people who come from majorly successful backgrounds, so I just learned not to give a fuck about that. If two people click, they click regardless of wealth and appearance.

No, that's just means she wants a man who makes more money. As far as I'm concerned, commitment is a trap.

I've had guys that stopped talking to me when they know I've travelled well, in better shape than them etc
Asker+1 yI just don't get it at all
Asker+1 yI don't get why guys would feel that way

Men are smarter than women.
When women make more money, the divorce rate goes up from 50% to 75%, with women filing 80% of divorces.
Only white don't receive Affirmative Action in universities and the workplace, violating the equal protection clause of the 14th amendment to the U. S. Constitution.
Asker+1 yOh wow I never would of thought. Maybe it's true for women to better up then

+1 yNo, I have no issues with that. I can't imagine being put off by an attractive and well off woman.
20 Reply Less so with what you make, more so with how you treat us if we dont make as much. If you can have that conversation early on it puts the mind at ease that you aren't judging or resenting us.
10 ReplyWhy would that be a turnoff? Just don't be a miserable person to be around, and men will find you attractive. Even more so if you're healthy and working a good job.

Asker+1 yAll I did was talk about fitness and I was busy applying for grad scheme jobs... we haven't met up

I guess the problem is you're with people who don't deserve you
Asker+1 yMeh 😑 I'm honestly just doing what I enjoy in life. it makes sense to go for a decent paying job better to be financially independent because relationships come and go nowadays...
Asker+1 yGone are the days where women rely fully on the guy...
Anonymous(18-24)+1 yIntimidated yes (if the job is ludicrous money), but that’s the same as anyone Id meet who’d fit that description. if she’s willing to date me I’d be ecstatic: I’d think someone that happy and successful sees something in me.

+1 yThis is my preferred type of woman, as long as she does not let it go to her head and expect me to bend over backwards. 50/50 effort in the partnership, not one making all the effort.

+1 yBasically, that kind of girl sounds like quite a catch. I don’t mind if someone has a career or not but it is impressive when a girl is successful in her career.

Anonymous(25-29)+1 ySome guys do that, it hurts their male ego. Their Psychology behind this is, seeing an independent woman who's also very pretty, He thinks "why would she'd stay with me what do I have to offer her now she has everything she want, she doesn't need me anymore before she dumps me why not I dump her first." So he dumps her. Trust me He's not very happy after this decision either.

Opinion Owner+1 yP. s not all men thinks like that by the way, I've told you the psychology of some men who thinks that way. Coz such men do exist.

+1 yI don't think that it's the job and the body that is the turnoff, but rather the attitudes (entitlement and disrespect) that sometimes come with same. At least that's how it would be for me.

+1 yYes probably because men don't want women to be superior to them and they are afraid of it. This is bullshit but I guess most people are like that
10 ReplyInsecure guys would be put off, but not the confident ones. They want a self reliant girl who is not a burden to carry on.

+1 yI sure don’t, but I also have the same to offer. I imagine men that are out of shape and/or have a crappy job can be.

Asker+1 yMaybe it's just my small town in the Scottish Highlands then
- +1 y
Well I lived in Lossiemouth near Elgin and my mate life’s in Ullapool.
I dated a lass from where he lives and also near Lossie.
Highlands for me would mean north of Inverness, so yeah gets a bit thin on the ground with people never mind just guys lol.
Forres and Elgin have plenty forces guys there who tend to prefer that type.
Asker+1 yWhen I lived in the states there was so may guys that would be a great match and they were so ambitious
- +1 y
Where you rural in the US?
You are living in the most sparsely populated of the UK.
It has about 235,000 people ish, Newcastle a small English city has 268,000 people.
That breaks down to www.citypopulation.de/.../
Overall it looks like 20,000 guys 16-24 yr old.
It’s one of those crap rural things where stats are stacked against you,
Asker+1 yNo I was in a big place in the states Philadelphia. People get so triggered in small places like the Highlands and most just get married with kids really young
- +1 y
Married and young is a bit of a British thing, but also yeah if you live rural and meet someone, you marry them, they might be the only girl or guy your age for a couple hours drive. For example a mate lives just north of Tain, he met and married this girl as she was doing a placement up there from Edinburgh. He knew he would not easily meet anyone else, so yeah quick bit of dating and married at 22.
Asker+1 yWell I actually had an old guy friend who is about to get married next year try hitting on me and said he wished he had a chance with me. I think a lot of people settle tho and didn't marry someone they really liked?
