Do you think younger men will date older women in the future?

It's a trend I've definitely seen online. Most of the time the age gap is at least 4 years. I think a lot of loser men (fat, balding, works some boring tech job, etc.) who won't be able to attract average women will go for women much older.

As this population of men obviously grows (due to online dating being the future of dating, among other things), the only downside I see is these older, obviously more jaded women taking advantage of their naivete and abusing them.

There are some who do and that will no doubt continue; however, if the older women are single moms or if they're past childbearing age, that will prevent most men from doing it.

Depending on what their respective ages you're talking about, there could be other issues. For example, it makes no sense for me to date a woman who is 15-20 years older than me and not working anymore.

Balding? So Jeff Bezos is a loser? It just happens as men get older. "Some boring tech job" -- Like what? I work a tech job with a lot of very intelligent and interesting people. Some of their hobbies: rock climbing, sailboat racing, auto racing, mountain climbing, playing blues guitar, ... If they've been at the company for several years they are millionaires. Definitely not losers.

Balding looks very bad. Most men lack the required head shape for it to look good, and it's incredibly noticeable (especially if they wear hats all the time, it's a dead giveaway)

And those tech guys, they may have money, but can they make a woman feel like he's mysterious, dangerous, or can he make her laugh? Most likely not. Expensive hobbies don't make you interesting.

Personally, I believe that there isn't a man alive that can get away with abuse (at least socially) in 2021, but the same can't be said for women.

If a woman were to date some loser twenty-something IT guy, systematically belittle him and strip whatever self-esteem, I don't think anyone would talk about how horrible it is, and how it's an epidemic we need to stop. I don't think there'd be any hashtags, or any social movements that get picked up by mainstream media.

Unless there are physical alternations, if adult people willingly go into relationship you cannot blame your poor dating chooice all on your bad partner. You can always getout of the relationship. Also men are in less danger than women since they are physically stronger. I know girl friends that guys hit, choked etc. but they would never report them as they loved and cared for them, so its not like "all are punished". System cannot be perfect andthere will always be ones that will get away with itfrom both sides. Also, this is the matter of law and what it prescribes. Women do gete punished for abusing men, its rare usually cause they dont have as much issue with agression as men nor they can harm them as men can to women.

I prefer older women because they are more experienced at life and other things

Not to mention they stop being guaranteed liberals and generally grow out of Harry Potter and bloody Disney movies
