I never was asked out on a date in high school, much less had a boyfriend. I was a chunk and had a bad complexion. It totally sucked which is one reason I hated high school and this song because it rang true.

OMG I heard this on the radio today.
I was dateless in High School as well. A lot of people were.
I put it all behind me but it was hard. A lot of things I did in my life was to overcompensate for my shortcomings.

I was about 2 parts prep,1 part science nerd.
I had dates if/when I worked up enough nerve to ask. The one exception was a Sadie Hawkins' Dance when she asked me ( the thin gal with the talented tongue). :- )

Not so. I had a weekly allowance of $10.00, more than enough to go to the movies, etc.
