My boyfriend’s ex has a more exciting family than mine am I wrong for worrying?

My boyfriend’s ex (baby mother) has a way more fun family than I do. My family is very religious and her family seems to be very fun, cool and the partying type. I feel intimidated because they were together 6 years and that’s probably what he’s used to. Then here comes my religious family I feel like he will think im
boring and miss her. This is part of the reason why I didn’t invite him to Thanksgiving because I didn’t want him to be bored…. We have been together 4 months so far. Am I over thinking?

She is his ex for a reason. If there weren't problems and the relationship was good and he was happy they would still be together.
You shouldn't worry about it.
The only thing to worry about is being in a relationship with someone that has a kid from someone else. they will always have that connection to the other person and it could become a problem.

I wouldn't worry! How's his family or your friends? If you are in the relationship and you want it to be long-term; create your own family with him. If he has family, that are cool: then there you go, his friends, your friends. If I were you, I probably wouldn't be around my family often. I would be with my boyfriend and his family.
