Why do guys like my friend so much?

There’s this one girl in my group of friends, who’s not the prettiest but not the ugliest either, she’s quite cute/above average. But she is very dramatic and bitchy, and puts other girls down a lot, and is very insecure in her relationships and jealous. But she gets the most guys and always has a boyfriend. Most of her boyfriends are obsessed with her and I don’t understand it. She gets far more boys than my model friend who’s like the sweetest person ever and wouldn’t hurt a fly. Do men just love bitches or something?

Here’s the thing. Sure she gets lots of guys but that means she also loses lots of guys. So everything you said makes sense. Because she is so flirtatious and goes for what she wants she gets guys initially. However because of her personality after a while those relationships don’t last.


Your other friend is too nice and reserved so if she wants more guys should go for it and learn some flirting tips watching the first friend.


Bottom line what’s the goal? If you want lots of guys short term then friend 1 nails it. If you want just one guy for a longterm relationship then meet lots of guys but have a genuine personality to keep and foster a relationship.

Thank you that really helps. That’s such good advice. It’s just that there’s that saying that “men love bitches” so I was just wondering if it’s true. My shyer, model friend gets more actual attention from more guys but my bitchy friend has the few guys that are into her, obsessed with her. While guys treat my nice friend like sh** sometimes, maybe because she’s too nice/too forgiving. I don’t know.

Which friend is more honest or willing to say what they want or need. No one is a mind reader and too often people confuse ‘nice’ with ‘not communicating’. If your model friend adds confidence and a guy treats her with disrespect then she should call it out and not let herself be walked all over.

The thing about bitches and bad guys is they will tell others what they want and not hold back when someone treats them badly. That’s one reason others gravitate to them. Obv the negative aspect to their personality is they manipulate and take advantage of others.

So both your friends should continue to mature. Your bitchy friend should stop playing games and value herself more and your model friend should grow up and have more confidence. Truth is a mature man would not stay with either based on what you have said.

This is very true. My bitchy friend used to bully both me and my model friend, by putting us down in front of and to guys to make herself look better. It was so obvious. That’s why I have such a vendetta against her 😂 sorry if it all sounds immature. I think my bitchy friend is definitely more confrontational, but she plays the victim whenever she’s done something to someone and guys don’t seem to mind because they’re besotted by her. And yeah, I really like my model friend but she has issues keeping men so I will tell her what you said.

I guess she is quite “easy to get” and guys can tell. It’s just weird because my other friend is much prettier than her (prettiest girl I know) and is much nicer but yet is less lucky with men. I know that sounds bitchy but friend 1 was not a nice person so I feel I’m justified saying that

From observation of my friend group that certainly seems to be the case :D And when she's done with them they go whining about how there's no good women around and that men should go their own way :D Though in this scenario, the girl is question is a sex bomb but she treats guys like doormats. But that's so exciting for them! I guess it's the girl version of the bad boy archetype. They never learn :') But as a friend she's top class amazing and I'm so lucky to have her! :)
