He canceled our 3rd date?

So I've been seeing this guy for few weeks. First date we went to restaurant, then bar, then walk and then his place where we were making out all night (no sex). He tried to push for sex but I told him that I want to wait until we are solid, to which he said he understands (also, I was on my period and he knew it). He planned for second date during the first date, and then few days later we went to amusement park, then restaurant, then my place for movies. It was wonderful, we made out, it was very passionate. He stayed the night and had to go to work then but said "I wish I could stay here all day". We planned our third date right on the spot, that was supposed to happen yesterday. I think he could tell that I'm letting my walls down and getting more and more into him, to which he seemed happy about. He texts me throughout the day and calls me every evening he comes back from work. Few times he called me randomly during the day too just to hear my voice. Anyway, Friday came, I asked him if he will come over after work and he said "Absolutely! by the way I haven't slept good and I trained hard today so I'm super tired, so don't expect much from me" with shy emoticon. I told him that few of my friends invited me to a bar and asked him if he wants that we join them for awhile, and he said "sure, we can" and then added "or not, I understand if you're tired, we can just chill indoor, whatever is fine with me" and he said "okay, I come and we'll see what we do". So the time came when he was supposed to leave work and he texted me "I am so tired... Let me get home and see what, but it's possible that I will stay home tonight, sorry. What about tomorrow?". I was a bit disappointed. First of all, I told my friends that we won't join (I was being considerate about his tiredness), second I went to saloon to get waxed and did my hair and nails, cleaned my house and even made him his favorite dinner. To him to cancel last minute because he was "tired". Is he losing interest?

by the way he knew my period is over and that we will probably have sex this time.
