Is he regretting his decision?

Hi, I dated this guy for a month about 4 months ago and we got it off really well. We liked each other a lot, but he decided to end it because his family did not like the fact that I’m not from the same country as they are. He also told me that he’s not ready for a relationship etc

i cut off all contact with him, and out of the blue he started to follow me on Instagram yesterday after four months. This got me confused but I followed back. He then unfollowed me and removed me as his follower 5 minutes later. I texted him asking if he had made a mistake and if he wanted something from me (I was being nice and friendly) but he said no forget that he followed me and all I said was okay if you say so and left it as that. by the way I DONT think it was a mistake since he would have to type in my username and press follow.

What is he thinking? Why did he follow me out of the blue? Is he starting to doubt his decision? Why would a man do this?

What is the problem? His family is an influence. How different are you from him? Both human. Sorry some people are so ignorant.

Exactly I don’t know why he listens to his family that much but I guess he wants their acceptance. But it’s hurting me that he’s following and unfollowing because it’s giving me mixed signals. I had moved on from him but since yesterday I’ve been sad and wondered if he wants me back eventually

I strongly think he misses you. But something is holding him back so that's why he's pushing you away.

Yeah I want him back although we just dated for a month. There was nothing wrong during that month, just the fact that his family would prefer him being with someone from their country. And I guess his family can influence him a lot..
