I got rejected by a guy i dated recently but we stayed on good terms and still talk sometimes but i am the one distancing myself from him, he texts always. I do this so i can get over the fact that he rejected so we can really stay friends bc i want a connection with him even if its not romantically.

But he started to leave comments like (when i took a while to respond) "no worries i'm used to girls ghosting me" jokingly but obviously its not really a joke

Or when i have plans "where, with who, who is that guy?"

Only he knows- you should tell him what you want and see where you stand with him- there is no reason not to be transparent about this. I'm good friends with one of my exes (we ended on very good terms), so it's possible to do it.

How do you ask someone "hey do you regret rejecting me or why are you acting all jealous and act like you are interested?" It would be weird+ he would probably brush it off with "im not" then continue acting like this
