I'm just wondering how it would make you all feel to date someone who thought that you were I emphasize the other positive quality of having your partner love everything else about you, just to see how important their attraction is to you one way or the other.
Please let me know how strongly you feel about it. Do you even care if your partner thinks that you're attractive? Would it be a deal breaker? Not decided?
It's something I'm thinking about in relation in doing the right thing in dating. It begs the question: is it okay to date someone who you think is ugly? Is it being too reckless with their self-esteem? Is it okay as long as they don't find out? Can you hide your view of their physical attractiveness?

How would you feel about dating someone who loved everything about you, except that they thought that you were ugly?
Nobody gets everything they want out of life... and I don't think it really matters what people think. What matters is how they behave. If she can treat you right and she's satisfied with you then that's enough. You could start life out as the best looking man on earth and when you get really old you're still going to be fugly (99% chance). At that point, what would you do? Kick out your wife/girlfriend because now you're fugly and they know you're fugly? Get real. If your relationship is based on more than looks and your fugly is all about genetics as opposed to being lazy fat... just get over it.
I said, "If she can treat you right and she's satisfied with you then that's enough" but maybe you think because she thinks you're fugly she's more likely to cheat? Nope, don't think it works like that. More like if you're dumb enough to think she's serious about you when she's not she's going to leave you to upgrade. Or if you think getting a relationship is like winning the lottery and after you win the money goes in the bank and you can keep it forever... when really it's more like relationships take a certain level of work (by both people). If you get lazy bad things will happen. And by lazy I don't just mean you doing the right things but you having standards that require the other person to do the right things too.
Bottom line is I don't care what people think. I care how they treat me.
I wouldn't date someone who didn't find me attractive, lol. Im surrounded by people who i absolutely adore. They're called friends. If they're not attracted to me and even find me "ugly" then I'm not the one for them 👌🏾
I already have 2 people like that in my life. They're my best friend's. It takes more than just blindly "loving everything" about someone to be someone's partner. Everything "but" my looks? Everything but my cooking, sure. Everything but my taste in music/ movies, absolutely. But "everything", yet thinks im ugly? No. Physical attraction is important to me in relationships. I like getting the feelings of butterflies when they smile and look at me with their handsome face. I like getting aroused while looking at their body and feeling their arms.
I think on the positive side... The dislike the only thing about you that you cannot control... It might as well not be an insult. If they stay with you then that shows how well the things you can control ARE.
I already know I'm ugly (and short), and there's nothing I could do about that, so I'm perfectly fine with that. I'd prefer that someone who lied to me and claimed to me that I wasn't ugly, in fact. I don't like dishonesty in a relationship. So option A for me.
There is a flaw in what you said. They could not love everything about me but think I am ugly. My physical appearance is a part of the everything that makes me who I am. In other words they would have to love how I look as well to love everything about me.

As I said before, the MBTI is unreliable. I expect that it can't tell the difference between a genius and Adam Sandler.
Seems like 1 in 4 people who I talk with about the MBTI is an INTJ.
Even IF you don't assume that the MBTI is bullshit, there's another explanation: INTJs are disproportionately interested in personality while 99% of ESFPs, INFPs, etc. aren't interested in personality. So when you ask an INTJ their type, they'll be able to tell you immediately, while an ESFP, for example, will reply "what the hell is an MBTI?" Since they never looked into it, as it is boring to them.
I took the full test with my university's career center. However most people took a cheap, incomplete knock-off test online. I have better evidence than most to say that I'm an INTJ. You should question the test itself rather than questioning me.

The point is that the test has little reliability or validity as far as statistical analysis. the only thing that it may accurately test is extroversion.
So I am not an INTJ.
Consider if a kindergartener made a personality test. After you take it, he exclaims "You're a Biklio!"
There is no such thing as a Biklio, therefore you are not a Biklio.
So my test results, on a fraudulent personality test told me that I'm an INTJ--which doesn't exist.
Personality psychologists use the Big 5 personality test. It has extremely broad acceptance in academia, and statistical support. Some use the HEXACO model (the big 5 plus the honesty/humility trait). It shows promise, but does not have broad support.
If the way you look doesn't matter, then that guy is in love with who and what you are on the inside. Thats far better than being liked only for the looks and nithing else.
if your wanting something that will last, never let looks get In your way because after 2 or 3 years your looks aren't what keep your relationship going. you have to be attracted though
