Guys how would you feel if your girlfriend secretly cleaned your house?

Currently bored, out of school and out of work today. I got an urge to clean my boyfriends house , so I did.

I would be okay with it, but honestly your kind of making a statement in doing that...

1. You're kind of saying your boyfriend is a slob.

2. You're also setting the president that if you two stay together for long term committed relationship and possible marriage that you don't mind cleaning even if he doesn't.

3. You might make him think you're a little ODC about cleanliness.

See I am not a slob, I would clean. But my first wife didn't have a job right away either, and so she would clean, do laundry and cook meals. Over the years she got upset about cooking cleaning all the time. Which made me upset, because I never asked her to cook or clean... she just always did it. So one day I made the point, that if she didn't cook for me... that I would not starve. If she did not clean... I would still live in clean house. If she did not do my laundry... I would still wear clean cloths.

And if all the cooking and cleaning bother that bad, she could get a job and not make it about me all the time. Because I could fix that as well... which I did.

So cleaning his place is actually very sweet and nice of you... but in general I would not make it a habit very often unless you truly don't care and aren't going to complain about it later. If your doing it with any idea that he is going to see it as a truly grand gesture, that will lead him into voluntarily changing his habits... then you are setting yourself up for failure.

I'd appreciate it honestly, though being honest not much to clean up back home to begin with. Kind of a neat freak, but again I'd still appreciate it in the end. Though, I would be a little concerned like if she moved things around without me knowing it and then I had to look for them and couldn't find them. Other than that I would still like it in the end, shit if she did something like that I'd want to take her out. Like take her somewhere special kind of thing really because that would be a hell of a kind gesture.

I'm cool with that as long as she was not doing so to go snooping around because if she is doing so to see if I am with other Woman then she should remember that I told her in the beginning that I am an will be with her an not with her so we can share or not.
Also if she takes things with out me knowing about it then there is a very very big problem an she could go to jail or lose me all together.
Just regular cleaning not a problem with it or better said just Straighten It Up an not throw anything away.

If I know her favorite meal I'd tell her probably give me an hour and go buy all the ingredients and spend the evening cooking it and then do romantic stuff later. And then also agree to spend more of my free time just being comfy together. Maybe instead of gaming I'd just spend it just being cozy with one another over these holidays.
