Why would a man hide a baby from a woman he is cheating with?

He wants as few blockades as possible to get sex. A woman might see a child as another reason not to help him cheat. If a relationship between two people goes south, then it's just the two of them who are hurt. If there's a child involved, then the child's life would be impacted. Typically it's easier for an adult to get over someone cheating than a child getting over their parents getting split up.

I'm sure women use the same tactics, I just think a woman is more likely to think about that than a man.

I mean you said it, it is a woman he is cheating with, the last thing he wants is for that woman to know all his personal info because then she might use it against him. Also if that person knew he had a kid then it's pretty accurate that maybe that person won't want to have anything to do with him so he hides it assuming that he just wants sex at the moment.

IF so that is cause it isn't relevant, cheaters usually don't share details of their life like that.

Why does it seem like he's looing around for another girl when he's already engaged he's been cheating before the engagement aswell and before his girlfriend got pregnant

Deliberately? Or just hasn't mentioned it? Because they would be no need to mention it to her. Cheaters keep their life private usually and he probably feels no reason to mention it to you, vs deliberately keeping it from you. Just like if you were the one cheating, you probably wouldn't mention anything about your life to him would you? Because why would you?
