We had our first date the other day. He sounds so excited through texts before our date asking me out. During the date, it was okay. We look comfortable conversing. He was gentleman from the start to end. Gave me a full body hug at the end after bringing me to my car.

After that, I shoot him a message right away saying thanks for today. And he just replied you're welcome. Then he's a little bit dry texting me.

I keep sending longer messages and his responses are lol, thank you. So I just replied you're welcome just to have him initiate the conversation or maybe he'll ghost me.

Then after few hours he asked when is my day off. I gave him the days. Then he said, maybe i'll see you later. I replied sure just give me which day. And he said sure I will. I always replied with excitement but his reply is sure I will. Not like before our first date.

Honestly, if there's a mood change after your first date and you feel it, trust your gut. If he was chatty before meeting up and changed after your date, I wouldn't get too invested in my opinion.
