Does he like me or is he uninterested? Does he think I dont like him or am I overhtinking?

So I matched with this guy on Bumble & we started talking. After finding him boring I unmatched him pretty quickly. To my surprise he looked me up on IG & started talking. He asked me why I unmatched him & I told him I thought he was boring. He laughed it off, set up a date with me & we had our first date like a week after

He was early for the date (green flag), I was late (oops). I noticed he was a bit nervous & was talking a whole lot, mostly about himself, his family or how he wanted to conquer my heart (red flag). I wasn’t very warm to him cause I didn't really feel a connection at first, but after a while I actually was having fun. Also I asked him why he’s on bumble, he said he wants a relationship & wants “someone who can support him since he’s a busy man”. Also, he told me he’s a bad texter... we continued talking & the date went on for hours. He walked me to my car & really was a gentleman, opened doors for me etc. I definitely felt physically attracted to him but I was scared that he had narcissistic tendencies. My ex was a narc & it screwed with my perception when it comes to guys. At the end of the date he asked me “so do you still think I’m boring?” I laughed it off & said “not as much as I thought”

He asked me to text him when I got home, I did. We continued texting & he set up a 2nd date shortly after. I was a bit cold to him through text, he would send long enthusiastic messages but we didn’t text often at all. The morning of the date he suddenly texted me he wouldn’t be able to make it because of his busy schedule that day, he owns a business & is taking extra courses. He asked me if I was free tomorrow. I said no, then he said he would try to be free later in the evening around 8:30. I said no its ok, I had a lot to do anyway cause I was leaving on vacay in a few days. I was still very short with texts and didn’t really put much effort in because I felt like he wasn’t interested since he cancelled the 2nd date. He seemed a bit offended...

Anyway, I went on vacation and didn’t think about him much. We didn’t speak for weeks… but then while I’m on vacation he suddenly responded to my IG story and started a conversation. It wasn’t very long, just small talk. Then after a month of being abroad, I came back and texted him first. He seemed very happy to hear from me and we texted back and forth for a little bit. I was still a bit standoffish through text. I didn’t reply to his last message because there was nothing to reply to.

Then, 2 weeks of nothing but liking pics on IG… suddenly he texts me, asks me how I’m doing and asked to meet up. I said why now, after 2 weeks? He said he was busy with his exam for the extra course he takes… Ok, we met up (more than a month after our first date, mind you)

He's early again, I was late again… but I was very apologetic. During the date he seemed nervous again (stuttering). He also was very attentive. The date was fun but again, he talked about himself a whole lot

I completely understand not wanting to date a narcissist and they past hurt you want to avoid in the future. If you really like this guy then go for it, if you have to convince yourself you like him then run. I honestly don’t know what to say to the rest of what you wrote because nothing seems that off to me. Seems like he’s just trying to get to know you. I would have not liked him talking about winning my heart, so I agree with you there on red flag. Also, when he said he needs someone to support him cause he’s a busy man does he mean he wants a puppy dog girl who goes along with everything (these types of girls are easy to manipulate, I was one of them) or did he just choose weird wording? I overthink shit so I don't know.

Thank you so much, I didn’t really finish my story because it was too long. But basically during our 2nd date he told me he was gonna get surgery on his knee and jokingly asked if I would come visit him after the surgery. I said maybe I would. I didn’t though, because I felt like after that he didn’t put much effort into texting and staying in contact. Then we didn’t speak for a month or so and suddenly he contacts me again, just to ask what’s up and then no contact again (I didn’t reply to his last text cause there was nothing to say). We didn’t speak for a few weeks and then I decided to hit him up and ask him if he wanted to be in my music video (I’m a singer). He immediately said yes and drove 3 hours to be there, he came with his brother. He told me he canceled other plans that day so he could come. During the video we were supposed to be touchy etc, he was a bit more standoffish than usual but my friends who were also there said that I was acting a bit cold towards him too (I was nervous). We spent the whole day there and him and his brother left around 11pm

After that he didn’t text me though.. so I decided to text him the next day to thank him for everything. He replied enthusiastically but didn’t really ask questions. We had a short convo and I told him I would like to treat him one day to say thank you. He said I didn’t need to do that because he would never expect anything back from me and he knows I invested a lot of money into the video etc blabla (basically said no I don’t wanna go out with you). I left it. Then next day I texted him the photos from the shoot and he replied really quickly and enthusiastically again, we had a little convo and he said he was working, I told him I was gonna let him work Cuz I didn’t wanna distract him and he replied no, you’re allowed to distract me. We continued talking for a little bit and then I told him I was going to sleep. He said “Goodnight, tomorrow then😗”. Tomorrow comes and he never texted.. it’s been a week and he hasn’t contacted me, just responded to my story with an emoji a few days ago. I’m confused 😣

He is definitely into you, I think you are overthinking. If you are into him too then let your guard down, because it might be confusing to him that you just don’t text back sometimes but other times you invite him to a music video?
