No.
Here’s my reasoning; my guy friend is strictly my guy friend. We are platonic. We have no feelings for each other. We are not attracted to each other. We don’t intend on anything more than friends. Plus, he’s bi.
Unless you have good reasoning to tell me to stop hanging out with him, I won’t stop. If I am the one who agreed to be your girlfriend, then I am committed to you, I am in love with you, no one else. There is no reason to not trust me or him if it’s clear on our intentions (I am with you, no intention on being with him).
personally i would. With a relationship comes boundaries, and that goes for both people. I know for a fact i would find it hard if he had a very close friend that was female.
I know male and female can be friends but it's not so nice when they're as close as you two are supposed to be, it's like they're just as special as you are when you should be more- i don't know if that makes any sense!
Respect towards your partner should be taken, if they find it uncomfortable, no matter the reason, they should take action to make you feel more comfortable:)
To be honest - you might not mean it this way but to me, that basically says people prioritise the people they want to have sex with.
And you love and care the one about the one you’re having sex with? Most people have known their best friend for far longer than a boyfriend. And some best friends are very close and love each other (just platonically).
Yes I get that. But what I mean is that he’s your other half because you have sex with him. There are a lot of people who have opposite gender platonic best friends. And some act like a couple without sex.
It depends on the situation. if the friend is acting weird around me or something, then that's understandable why he feels that way. however if he's just simply jealous for no real reason, then that's a sign of a controlling boyfriend and i would've broken up with him.
Back in the day I would have said No. but being older and wiser now, Yes. You don’t need a male best friend if you have a boyfriend, that’s what he is there for. It’s ok to have opposite sex associates but a BFF is a little to much. Just my opinion from personal experience.
@bones_20 I didn’t drop anyone and I still love my nieces I’m just not kissing their axx. If they don’t speak hello to me then they just won’t be greeted with a hello although we do talk
My bad commented on the wrong post
Of course not why would I? My best friend is a male our relationship is solely based on friendship apart from that he's gay there are no other intentions involved from both sides other that a friendship. He's been in my life for a while the person I'm dating doesn't have the right do ask me such thing.
that means your boyfriend is jealous and you should one day sit both of them down and ask them to talk and get to know each other , this works i tried it and it worked but if you do not want to do that then tell your boyfriend that the guy friend is important to you but that you love him
If my friend started causing issues with my relationship, then I most likely would. If nothing bad is going on, then I see no reason as to why I should stop hanging out with him.
Causing issues in what way?
nah, fuck that controlling habit. my friend will be there after the boyfriend gets dumped basically.
Not a chance. I wouldn't do it even if he and I were dating for a while either.
No I wouldn’t. That is a sign of a controlling person and I can not deal with that.
Nope, he can suck it up or hit the bricks.
nope never
İ don't know
