Guys, would you stop hanging out with a female friend if a guy friend of yours told you she has feelings for you?

I'm not sure. I would hope she wouldn't reveal her feelings to me. I guess it would depend on the level of her interest. I mean I don't want to lead her on, or give her false hope. But I don't want to just avoid her either. I think I'd have to deal with on a case by case basis.

Not at all!! If anything, if I had an interest in her beyond friendship, it'd make me wanna get together with her!
If she was someone I just couldn't see myself with, I'd try to avoid her. When I was in high school, there was this girl, Janice, that was madly in love with me! She was only about 4' tall (I was already 6' 1"!), had long red scraggly hair, wasn't pretty, had a voice that could peel paint and she was at least 50 lbs. overweight! If I was walking in the halls and saw her coming towards me, I'd have to run and hide or, if she saw me, she'd come running yelling my name and, if she caught me, she'd throw her arms around my waste and profess her love for me! THAT happened at LEAST once! Now, if I did that to some girl, I'd get arrested!!

Oh, yeah! I can still show you the exact spot in the hall where she did it! If I recall correctly, the school was built in two parts and the that hall in the first part didn't quite match up to the hall in the new part so, it sort of zig-zagged about 4 feet and that's where she caught me. Because of the zig-zag, we couldn't see each other until we were right on on top of each other and, as soon as she saw me, she screamed and ran up to me and threw her arms around my waist. (Sorry, I spelled that wrong, last time.)

I don't have female friends. And it is exceedingly common for opposing gender friendships to result in feelings for one the other or both. Which is why in near every situation it is a complete falsehood that "men and women can be friends without wanting anything from each other"
