+1 yI might not be wise enough to answer the question. But what I can say is you mentioned female friend who acted like she was interested in you who had a boyfriend. So was she really interested or it was just some sort of misunderstanding which created a sort of spark in your mind that she is interested in you. I know that sometimes some girls do open up and try to be themselves and be so close to us that sometimes we might interpret as if she is interested in us. But the case is, it might be her nature or she might be like that around people who she felt most comfortable with. People she trusted the most. People she thought they will maintain only healthy friendship with her. So before getting to any conclusions its always better to talk face to face with her and try to be very specific about what you felt and what her intentions were. But whatever the case might be you can always try to be friends with her by keeping proper boundaries thats what I personally feel.
P. S. - My opinion is completed based on the word you mentioned 'acted like' which was just based on your assumption and without any confessions from her that saying she was interested in you though she had a boyfriend.02 Reply- +1 y
Before you reach to any conclusions, you need to see where she acts the same around the person she is most comfortable with. Is she really over friendly with few people other than you and she behaves the same with them too just like she behaves around you? And if you really think that you both are really close enough and share about personal and emotional stuffs, you might even think about confronting her directly saying I am kinda getting mixed signals from you but you are already in a relationship. So am I trying to be over critical about it or you do have a thing for me too. Something like that. But it depends on how your bond actually is. Its always better to spectate her around other close friends to get for signs where she is interested in you or not. And if she is not into you and you embrace your friendship with her, it would be better to stop thinking whether she is interested in you or not and just focus on the kind of connection you have with her. Because overthinking might ruin something precious. As long as what is between you and your friend is not causing any harm (mentally, emotionally and physically) to you, her and her boyfriend, I believe there shouldn't be any problem for you to stop seeing her. But if you have feelings for her this friendship can be a bit complicated.

+1 yYou mean she flirted with me? Made me feel like I was 'in with a chance?'
Nope. I wouldn't end the friendship. I know a couple of girls like that and they flirt with me PURELY because they know I'm not interested. One is single and the other has a boyfriend.
Both girls are friends of my girlfriend.01 Reply
What Guys Said
Yes because IF I was interested think of it this way if she does end up breaking up with her boyfriend and going with me she could do the same too me and I ain't that shallow to be someone's second choice let alone that she had a boy friend and was even ACTING interested that's jus red flag all around

+1 yI wouldn't end a friendship for something as dull as that. I would though adhere to the philosophy of "no woman is ever yours, it was just your turn."
Sounds crude I know, and I bet a lot of chicks would be like, "I'm not like that" but stick around them long enough and you'll find out. Disney lied and chicks have wondering eyes just like I do.10 Reply388 opinions shared on Relationships topic. Yes.
A man and a woman are never really friends per se. A woman knows if you are into her or not. If she has a boyfriend then she is keeping him around for favors ( money, rides, shoulder to cry on etc) or attention. She knows that you want to be with her but she still goes with the boyfriend. I have been down that road before. She is using you plain and simple.
There is a concept called orbiter and it is related to red pill ideology. Look it up.01 Reply
+1 yIt would depend on the situation, but judging from what you have replied to the other guys on this post I suggest you make like Hawk Harrelson and say “she gone” because you deserve better than that OP.
As another guy said “we are men with our without women”.00 Reply532 opinions shared on Relationships topic. No, but if she said or did something that was really pushing boundaries I'd say something to tell her off.

Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yNot unless it was becoming an issue in the friendship. A talk about boundaries might need to happen first, but then if it wasn't being respected, or feelings were too strong to continue a friendship, then maybe.
01 ReplyYeah. End it by transitioning into a sexual relationship.

Exactly. If she wants to play games.. cool. She ain't the only female in your life. Don't let her have that kind of power and don't let her forget. We are men with or without a woman
+1 yI wouldn't rip the friendship for good but I would stay a bit away than before.

3.1K opinions shared on Relationships topic. Not really, since it's a friendship, not a relationship. Now if I was the type of guy who is incapable of having female friends I don't intend to fuck, then I may.

Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yIt depends. If I thought her "acting like it was intentional" you betcha I would. Because a woman that does that ISN'T a friend of yours anyhow. So really you've lost nothing.
00 ReplyDepends on whether I was attracted to her or not; if so yes if not no.
