Guys, would you let a female friend know that your best friend would only want her as a fling (she told you she wanted a relationship)?

When visiting alone with your female friend, you find out that she's looking for a long term relationship, and not casual flings. Do you let her meet your best friend and go out with him, so that your best friend can get what he wants, or do you warn her that your best friend is just interested in casual flings?

A guy could treat 5 women one way and woman number 6 differently DEPENDING on how the woman acts. So, no, I don't see why I would need to talk negatively about a friend. More like, if I really thought my friend was doing something horrible then they wouldn't be my friend. And if I don't think he's doing something horrible then there's zero need for me to be bad mouthing him behind his back.

If you told me you were looking for a guy who treats you well, and I never suggested for you to get with my friend: IT IS A HINT.

The answer would be no well I can't say no it depends on who the guy is some of my friends I would say no some of my friends I would say okay because it's a female is my friend I'm not going to put her in any bad positions with a couple of my friends a couple of my good male friends that I knew would treat her good I would say yeah

I would give her the heads up. But not too directly or harshly. Let her be aware then make her own decisions. Maybe he will fall for her? Maybe she would rather casual than nothing? But as long as her eyes are wide open you should step way back and tell them both you don't wanna be the middle person cos if things get messy you don't wanna choose sides!

Would it do any good? The problem with your question is you're not taking into consideration a woman's overwhelming desire to delude herself in matters of attraction.

I've been in the position before. And you'd be suprised... or maybe you wouldn't be surprised by how many women will get mad at you and cut you off for even suggesting this fact.

I would stay out of it. If they are to be together short term or long term is up to them. And how they feel now... that they are seeking different things... could change very quickly. Your meddling could result in destroying something that might be very good for them both.
