Of course I defended myself. I told the guy”oh ok”…“was that suppose to hurt my feelings or something” then he fell silent. Truth be told it wasn’t even the guys comment that hurt my feelings, it was my boyfriend silence that hurt my feelings.

Umm why? Just ignore the guy on the video game. Or mute him. It’s not like real life wherr you have some person harassing you. Not to mention modern women consider men who defend women or stand up for them toxic or simps. Fight your own battles. Or just tell your boyfriend you like being protected and you want him to stand up for you. Don’t expect him to read your mind. He won’t know why you are angry. You literally need to spell it out to him. The more direct and straightforward the better. Women seem to love leaving hints or signs instead of just talking about it directly. That’s why men and women are so different. I guess that’s a beautiful thing though.

On a online platform... nah. When trolls say things like that they get off on the attention and response and it empower them to keep going. So the smartest thing to do is ignore it. There is literally nothing your boyfriend could of said other than hey that's not nice, just to make you feel better... then ignore any response there after.

Yes, but there's not much he can do. He can't wring their neck from the television. There are a lot of rude people in Online Gaming so it's best to get used to it. What you could do is report them and get them kicked off for a few weeks. They have moderators on there. I wouldn't go that far unless it was really bad. You can block them as well.
