I have had multiple women like that wanting to be seen with... on my arm or in my company. They are showing off at the expense of another. This is never a good thing. It is a red flag and when you see it recognize it. Slowly step away because it does not improve or change. Know who you are dealing with and this person's interest is more important than you and your well-being.
