Why hasn't he replied?

I have been dating a guy for 5 months. I've fallen for him, and I know he has commitment/abandonment issues. I thought I could continue keeping things casual but I can't. I poured my heart out in a message and told him I mentally can't do whatever it is we are doing if things are not going to process further. Its been 24 hours and he hasn't replied. It hurts that he hasn't even acknowledged it.

He's a bad texter in general he takes hours to reply but he told me when we met it was due to anxiety. He has confessed he really likes me. He knows I like him and I left it open in my message that I like him and if he ever gets over his issues then I might be available in the future.
