Why do so many attractive women seem so insecure about their looks?

I have a friend who’s a print model, not super famous or anything but she gets a lot of gigs and is signed with an agency. She is tall and in good shape, pretty thin. Has gorgeous long hair and sharp cheek bones, etc. She’s so pretty, but thinks she’s ugly and picks herself apart to pieces. She doesn’t have a boyfriend but the only guys who really talk to her or go on dates with her are attractive guys over 6’ tall who have great careers. I mean literally she can get attention from men that most women would want, but she still thinks she’s ugly. I’m scared that her insecurity is turning away men and not her looks, but anyway, I’m asking here because I want more perspective on this area.
Why are some of the most attractive women so hard on themselves and have such low self-esteem?

When your confidence solely comes from the opinions of random people, your self-worth is solely held in the hands of other people. Most attractive people live life on Easy Mode (men and women), so they can't handle the slightest bit of criticism. The most confident people tend to be ugly men because their souls have been hardened like diamond. While attractive people's souls are made of prop glass.

Doesn't sound like she has a good personality, then. Maybe she should work on that. Rub pizza grease on her face, give herself acne, and stop showering for a few days, and then harden up. But then again, that's how MEN would improve themselves. Women in general live life on Easy Mode, and no one has an easier life than tall attractive middle-class or richer Western women.

I've snagged and banged over 500+ and this includes models and p0rnstars (I did p0rn myself).

It is actually easier for me to get the 7s, 8s and 9s (I don't believe 10s exist, they're Unicorns in Fiction Novels), than it is to get the average or below average. I've noticed average biitches have higher standards. The insecurity of these top tier women is off the charts, and it's because they typically have all this fuuckin makeup on, use filters, have plastic surgery, etc.. but they still have that insecure mind-set when they were 4s, 5s and 6s

I've been told I'm very beautiful. My experiences with men have made me have low self esteem. I've taken chances on dating guys that acted like they liked me to just reject me. Or some guys only act like they want to be my friends because I quote they think I'm hot. I have naturally dark brown, almost black hair and very blue/green eyes. Decently fit, but curvy. I'm pretty petite as well. I have a decent personality. Very smart. 3.97 GPA, hard work. I've been cheated on in almost every relationship and consistently get lead on by guys or am a back up plan. Took a chance on a guy recently that was probably a little too old for me, one for him to reject me due to the age difference. Talked to friends and all of them have said it sound like he wants to keep me around as a friend as his back up plan. This is what happens consistently for me.

Generally, people don’t compliment women who are really attractive because they assume she knows it and she doesn’t have to be reminded the same thing again, other than not wanting to feed her ego which I think stupid. Many men are hostile towards them too because they are aware that they won’t be able to score her or afraid of the competition from other wealthy men. Women compliment other women who are average looking so your friend probably feel all alone since nobody really tells her the truth.

Well, there is no other reasoning besides low self esteem and a negative self perception.
It’s just something psychological about people.
Some people have inflated egos, they think they are the sexiest person in the world, and some people have serious low self esteem and think they are absolutely disgustingly hideous.

I think because nobody (guys or girls) sees themselves the same way as others do, ever. Or very rarely. Add to that, everyone has different tastes. Myself even, my opinion, I'm not "ugly", but I know I'm not "gorgeous" either, not sure what I think of myself lol, but I've literally been called both so? lol

well, i is insecure about myself.. but, all guys want have sex with me as i got huge round ass and boob and very tiny waist and i am super submissive and will follow all order that males give me.. i will let them spank my ass and fuck me till i am weak if i do something that they dont want. i know men are much more bigger and strong then woman and woman was made for man to have sex with and to do whatever they want to woman, as woman are weaker.. yet, i am so insecure.

It’s one thing to have looks, it’s another to keep them. Add in competition. That can make a person obsessive.

Does she have some bad experiences in the past or is it just her self esteem? People can be very hard on themselves for no reason and get influenced easily these days from social media/friends.. how you should look to be 'attractive' to other people.
