now, i don't know if he really had an accident or just told you that, or why he doesn't seem interested anymore, since if you hung out more than once, he probably likes you to a certain level. but if you liked him, then there is nothing wrong with what you did and you shouldn't feel ashamed. as you said, virginity as a religous stigma. that thing that is useless and wasted is the energy people invest on that stigman, not you. loosing your virginity doesn't lower your worth in any way. if anything, you gain life experience which is infinitely more valuable.
what is so worthy in virginity? the fact that your hymen is intact? what do athletes have to do with it when it can tear just from them streching too much?
is it that you are "pure", if anyone says that acts of love aren't pure then they are just hypocrites or self-righteous assholes.

What you need to do is stop following society. They promote hookup culture and really, it solves nothing! After the pleasure is over, you are left with all kinds of unnecessary issues. You will not find any lasting joy through hooking up with strangers you know barely anything about. Stop following the crowd!
Pretty common, either he made up the accident or it's just preoccupied his mind to the point where you left it. Either way he doesn't particularly seem to keep you in high regard. Which is a shame because you're quite cute. Contacting him further could just lead to him fucking you again when he's horny and that will be all. Probably better to avoid that or you might catch more feelings (he won't)
