So I have this is issue where I'm afraid to face my issues.
For example. ... I have reason to believe my bank account is overdrawn into the negative. I'm afraid to look at my balance even though I know I should. I guess I'm afraid that it'll cause my anxiety to skyrocket.
& also im considering taking $$ out of my 401k account to get caught up on everything but im also afraid to look at that balance also.
Any advice? I know it sounds dumb but still.

You're anxious about checking your finances, which is understandable. Break the task down into small steps. Address the most urgent issue (like an overdrawn account) first. Before checking balances, prepare yourself mentally. Explore all options before touching your 401k. Talk to someone you trust, a financial advisor, or a therapist if needed. You can handle this.
Yes… go make more money and stop spending. Things will change in 6 months.
also… listen to Dave Ramsey. Or read his book.
