Why would a girl who barely knows me ask me personal questions?

She is asking me things like where i grew up, what suburb I live in. She has also asked how my job application is going and who I went out with on Saturday.

She's obviously interested in you. What is she supposed to ask you? How's the weather? Asking questions is how you get to know someone. You should be flattered not offended.

No I'm not a co-worker. She is barista and I just buy my coffee from there. But I was a complete stranger and she started acting overly happy to see me. It was an over the top kind of thing. She start giving me the biggest smile and wave, her eyes and eye brows raised.

Now we she and I have just naturally started talking and it feels so good. She and I know each others name now, we both know where we've grown up etc, she even asked me what suburb I live in. She has asked me how my job application is going. One very interesting question she asked me when she doesn't know that well was ' who did you go hiking with"

Hmmm I would be careful. Baristas are usually very easy going. As a girl, I can’t Ct like this with a man I’m not interested in but if I am into a guy I would be more quiet and reserved and ask him very basic questions lol. Well if you’re interested in her, ask her to go have a drink someday and see how she replies

The other barista's aren't like this towards me. I've seen her towards other guys especially my mate. She was just normal and straight to the point. But she was much more friendly towards me etc. I just don't know what her angle is. It just seems we have naturally clicked so easily when we barely know each other

What do you think her angle is? I asked her what her name was and she told me. Then she went on to say ' I was wondering what your name was the other day, like I've spoken to you but didn't actually know your name".

The other thing that was said when we were talking about where we are from and she had an accent. She told me where she was from. She asked me about where I'm from and I joked saying " I'm boring i just I've always been here in Australia'. She commented and said " no it's not boring i like Australian accents"
