Do you agree that physical attraction is important when it comes to dating, relationships, & even hookups?

I agree it is because I couldn’t physically, emotionally, or mentally connect with a guy I didn’t find hot or attractive nor would be able to take a step forward with him. I know looks isn’t all that matters but let’s be honest we have to have some physical traits that appeal to us when it comes to people. I’m into baby faced guys and if someone is offended then oh well.

but in my case... I do not necessarily need to be with someone that has the features that appeal to me the most or that I could have a preference for, I could very well go without those and I've done it, and I've had very significant relationships before

for example, I really really like and I am very attracted to black hair, and redheads... but I've never had a redhead girlfriend, and two of my ex-girlfriends didn't have black hair either... and this really didn't matter to me, it was not even a thought to be honest... lol

I wouldn't say it's more important than personality for me. I'd rather date someone who's average in terms of looks but more relatable and honest than someone with amazing features who lacks a decent personality. That being said one of the reasons I'd date someone in the first place is because I found them interesting in all aspects including their physique.

I’m not saying I want a perfect, model type of dude ,6ft, has muscles, & is perfection but I want someone average or at least a guy I find cute in my eyes that takes care of himself, has a nice smile, & the personality to fit but of course it’s a turn off if he’s physically attractive only and his personality sucks but on some degree I need to have that but I want someone who has both but like I said he doesn’t have to be perfect obviously because I know none of us are in this world.

Hookups? Sure. Serious dating and serious relationships? Kind of, but as time goes on and you get to know this person better, you'll see that looks truly don't matter as much as people make them out to be.

Physical attraction was primarily for hook-ups... and then some were not physically attractive at all... overly skinny or just not pretty but gentle and sweethearted... and desperate as fuck... so I obliged. We both knew we were using each other. A few hours of passionate and sweaty raunch, unapologetic because we knew we wouldn't see each other again.

Oh of course. I feel like that too. A cute guy to me is meaningless if his personality sucks but I’m not asking for a miracle guy like some girls do with standards of 6ft, muscles, dick size etc. I just want a guy who takes care of himself and is cute to me on some degree. I don’t know why though maybe it’s because I’m short and get told I’m cute I always almost end up attracting tall guys though but it’s not a deal breaker if he’s not 6ft or doesn’t have muscles like dad bod or whatever lol.

Oh, I can definitely relate to that! Matter of fact, what most people consider beautiful I don't find particularly attractive... But that she needs to take care of herself, is something I'm definitely looking for in a girl.

Some of my friends really like to take me to the club to look for cute girls, I don't mind flirting and teasing, but can't imagine myself ever falling for any of the girls there because there's nothing besides physical attraction that draws me to them... On the bright side, this makes it pretty easy for me to approach and have a good time with girls, because there's no pressure whatsoever.

For hookups very much so. For dating and relationships, not as much, but it plays a role initially. Less so over time. Look at old people. Do you think your grandpa and grandma are hot? Yet they are still together.
