Can someone explain to me what a pick me person is. I think my boyfriend is a pick me person when it comes to us having arguments if that makes sense?

A pick me person is like someone who thinks they're the best you could get. A simple example is when they say: I'm not like other guys/girls.

Because I might have the wrong definition of pick me? Lol. For example ; I get mad or upset about something them somehow he turns it around now he mad because I’m mad. Does that make his a pick me person. Always trying to make his feeling valid but not mine
