quite a few women need consistent emotional support. It's in varying degrees for each person depending upon how well he has given her a sense of security, her personality and life experiences (how she was treated, traumas), and her hormonal swings.

Nope that sounds like a nightmare situation just add clingy to that and for me personly that is the worst type of person to try and date as they would be ruled by there insecurities no happiness could be found there

I'd be cautious about doing so. Constant nagging, obsessive examining of phones and other personal stuff, and continual accusations of infidelity are proof of base insecurity. Such behaviour hardly inspires esteem or confidence. It can leave you walking on eggshells around the person, ultimately resulting in frustration. Bottom line: trust is vital for a relationship; if you have trust issues, then maybe you should not be in a relationship.

That would annoy me. Sometimes reassurance is needed and I don't mind that, but if everything is going alright and I am not behaving differently than usual or being absent, I would not appreciate her not trusting me or being insecure all the time.
Does she value our relationship because she genuinely enjoys our time together or simply because she's scared to be alone? This kind of behavior usually signals something else.
