Trending & News A guy only thinks a girl is too good for him in these scenarios:
She makes more money.
She’s stronger than him (possibly would look freakish unless he was malnutritioned and she was average in muscle tone.
She’s overly “innocent.” Not sexual or the type to have a one night stand or casual sex and he isn’t into marriage/ etc.
OR
he’s dated her and she’s everything he could ever want and more in a woman.
Men will date women who don’t always make as much as them, unless they are comfortable with their money situations and/or aren’t interested in paying for her and they are both into casual sex.
Men will date women who are not as strong as them.
Men will never date a woman who somehow surpasses him in anything because he wouldn’t feel like a true man, unless he was used to a lesser role in team projects and growing up or working for a woman in his previous years of life.
A man will never date an innocent girl, unless he wants to “Naughtify” her sexy side or doesn’t care about her.
A man will never date a girl who seemed like everything he ever wanted because he would already be dating her and probably considering the nerve to ask to marry or other.
If a man possibly thought she was everything from the start of dating or a simple encounter (/ few encounters), he’d probably see her as worth the effort and he’d try his best to not lose such a great catch.
If a man somehow told you “you’re too good for him- he’s possibly saying you both want different things, he’s not serious about you, you’ve surpassed him and he felt you were better than him (finance/ muscle- which are masculine things).
At any point like that- just leave the guy. It would be more work to work trying to cultivate from scenarios like that.
One thing for sure is men cannot leave it to a woman to make them masculine. Only if she actually needed help or so, but nothing with her interference because then it’d just feel wrong for them. Usually.
Just find a guy who can play the guy in your life and not mind. If he’s saying you’re too good for him. Just leave it because you could never convince him otherwise yourself.
You want a man who is sure that he wants you and has the drive to cultivate a relationship with you.
If there was genuine care and bonding. This could be an exception why both of you would try regardless of any mere negative emotions. It would and could be worked through, together.
I also had feeling and it was confirmed but usually high testosterone men will believe no woman is too good for them and their flirt game will get any woman. It’s possible that some men who thought a woman was too good for them they’d not truly love her, or have confidence, or average/high testosterone. Men never say an animal to hunt is too good for them.
A challenge is never too good.
It’s a high chance a man would think a woman was not his type if she was in a different bracket of life than he. If she was just a btch about it- he wouldn’t blame the money or muscle or her wit- he’d blame her poor character and know he could do better than that.
I don’t think it matters what a woman does or who she is as long as she has a fair amount of respect for him and also showed interest in him.
Lack of interest could be perceived by men and translated to the pure distaste in the form of being rude or a btch and they don’t always dig that lol
Usually if a man thinks she’s too good for him it’s a lame ass excuse to breakup w her. There are some instances where a dude knows he’s going no where, that he’s just dragging her down but usually it’s a lame excuse. Men are not intimidated by how much a girl makes, her career, etc. Woken tend to tell men well because you can’t handle it. There’s a difference between handling it and choosing not to handle it. Most of us choose not to. In answer your question if I honestly felt like I wasn’t good enough for her, I’d still try to fuck get that’s for sure.
No. I don’t want to maintain a lifestyle that’s beyond my interest. If you like to travel and have tons of pictures from various places in the world… I’m not interested. If you dress high class… I know I’m not high class it makes me uncomfortable. I’m blue collar and I don’t want to date a lawyer. And professional pictures makes them fake to me. In dating apps guys find profiles of very pretty women with pictures I’m weird places or professional photos that are fake women… I’m not wasting the effort for fake…

If she gave me ample signs she was interested/curious too then, yes.
If she seems disinterested I'm not pursuing in any case.
Though, I must admit, me being regular and non-flirty in my mind usually translates to the opposite for many. It's a curse of mine.
Currently looking for a way to dissuade without being mean or dishonest.
No. Because rejection sucks and if you already think you're going to lose, why bother? I rarely think a girl is too good for me though, but it does happen on occasion (usually if her personality is diamond-level and I know she deserves better.)
Depends on what you mean by pursue. I mean if she was interested in me then yes, but if she gave no inclination to want to even make want to try then, no. I have been with all types of women in which it was really fun while it lasted, but I knew long term it was never going to work out... but I did not just bail on the situation.
No, I have no sexual attraction to people that put off that vibe like they’re superior to me… I just have never been persuaded by a superstar I guess…. It would probably have to take something pretty raw like an amazing mansion and a super car and a badass boat and a plane… + some superior gardening skills I dig a bitxh that can dig…
No one is too good for me, they may be socially/financially better off, but I'm a fkn catch.
No one is too good for anyone before the cards are dealt.
Im too good for them actually. Seriously though, in the past that has stopped me from pursuing relationships with women.
All I get is guys telling me how I deserve better and I’m better than them and then they always get in a relationship shortly after, I’m getting so tired of it
Maybe you are intimidating in some way to them, or they are just making excuses to not date you specifically.
Yeah because you never know unless you ask. If rejected or she was in a relationship I wouldn’t keep pushing.
Though sometimes people date way out of their league… Because they never settled and finally found someone they enjoy
No, I never have and never do. A friend of mine told me that's why I've been single for 7 years. They claim the girls I think are too good for me might actually want someone like me. Seems unlikely though.
If she was interested in me... then absolutely. Why wouldn't I? If SHE doesn't think she's 'too good for me' then... there's no problem!
@Rosexøxø You just totally made my day! I'll be honest with you... I put about 2% of the thought, effort, (and length) of my usual GAG replies into this. (Because... it was so simple and straightforward there wasn't a whole lot to say!)
I am so happy if it's something that you might find helpful. That's so awesome. It's a happy accident. But you made my day. Thanks 🙂
Ofc! I love even that you mention THIS!
I’ve had moments like that and I must say that it only means you have mastered the lessons in this specific area. You no consider it common sense and foundational knowledge. That makes ME happy because I look and see someone else and I can say “yeah, he gets it.”
Live a good life man! 😁💪
I have never met anyone that is even AS good as me, ever.
I've never pursued a woman in my life that I thought was too good for me.
Definitely. If she’s overly attractive or comes across as stuck up I lose attraction very quickly. Not going to waste anyone’s time.
I never think that unless I've gotten to know her. And even then it isn't really "too good for" but rather different dating and/or life goals.
Sure, there's no such thing as too good for me. I've got a lot to offer, if someone doesn't have the wisdom to see it then that's their malfunction.
If she's too good for me, why would I waste her time by trying to pursue her?
No honestly, I find it embar3ssing to carry on. Tbh. I just try my absolute best to forget about her
If she's too good for me why would I waste my time and hers?
Yes. I got married by blackmailing her after auditing her tax returns. Sucker…
No woman is too good for me. There are just women WORTH pursuing and some who are not.
No, because well.. you already know, but I would develop a strong friendship with them instead
I voted yes. No guts, no glory.
The answer would be NO.
I only pursue if it is reciprocated.
No such thing.
I don't chase anyone.
No - why bother?
No woman is TOO GOOD for me!
Thank you
In my right mind, no. Can I help it, no.
No such thing as too good 😁 I love girls.
No; of course not.
That depends
