You cannot really choose fuck buddy. You become fuck buddies with someone on mutual agreement.
From my own experience, I was usually just friends with those girls, but as we obviously had at least sexual attraction to each other, we would agree not to be in a relationship for whatever reason, and just be fuck buddies.
