How to reconnect after a month of no contact?

talked and hung out with this girl for around a month before she decided to end things. we ended on good terms and to my understanding i had done nothing wrong, but a matter of bad timing. I was really interested in her and want to try reconnecting but don’t know how to. when we ended i did mention i would text her again sometime in the future. is a month long enough or should i wait even longer to text again? what should i say?

Some more info: she seemed really interested when we were talking, but then kinda distanced herself. to my knowledge there isn’t any other guys that she is talking to seriously

Is the purpose of you reconnecting to be friends or something more? If it’s to be friends then I see that there is no problem in reconnecting. But if it’s to become more then friends I would let her do the foot work, once she is ready she’ll reach out to you. Plus you don’t want to look desperate either.

Well, there is no hurting in reaching out with something like "Hey! Just wanted to see how you were doing. I was remember the time we _________ and made me smile and think of you. Anyhow, I'd love to hear from you when you have the time."

She seemed like she was fine with reconnecting in the future. the timing was bad because we both had vacations on separate weeks and couldn’t really see or talk to each other other than virtually, which kinda killed the “vibe”
