My boyfriend dumped me 4 days before I go on holiday with my single girlfriend we both said we would block each other and he hasn’t?

So my main question is why hasn’t he blocked me when he said he would. He messaged me today apologising for everything and I need to believe that he never intended to upset me.

Would it be best for me to block him now? Or to let him see how happy I am on holiday and then block him when I’m back?
