The number one reason you dont approach people?

I just talk to everyone around me. I didn't feel the need to approach since I might stumble into a great conversation with a pretty girl anyway along the way who might be better than the one across the room.

The only time I ever approach people is if they look upset or feel left out, and that includes both men and women. Then I approach and invite them to join us, and introduce them to my friends. Then if they smile, I feel like I did a good thing, and continue talking to everyone around me.

Not sure if you mean romantically or in general but in general it’s because I like my space and romantically it’s a fear of rejection.
