Feeling nervous before a first date?

I’m going out to the movies with a guy friend of mine this weekend, I feel excited but a bit nervous I’ll mess it up somehow, any ideas how to stay relaxed?

There is not really.

think about what you plan to wear,

look up a little bit about the movie, if you both like it etc.

Find something you know he likes talking about and if you are comfortable (knowledge) wise, chat to him about it.

chat about something you have in common.

those nerves do not leave you, you will likely have other dates, you will be nervous on those.

it tends to change how long we are nervous for.

The nice part about a movie is it gives you that time to relax your nerves. Then afterwards it gives you an easy topic of conversation. You will be fine. Just be yourself. That's what attracted him in the first place
