How can I find a girlfriend in my 30s?

I’m trying dating sites but not sure about the quality of girls there. Maybe Tinder? Outside of work I don’t do a lot of social activities. I’m in a new city where I don’t know too many people compared to where I grew up.

Social groups, such as different communities, servers, forums or sites online! These are good alternatives if you don't want to try social groups irl. Use the "friends first, couple later" approach. Just be ready for the perfect girl to live in another country and having to deal with that.

I don't recommend dating sites and apps, unless you're looking for a sex-only kind of thing.

Get a hobby that girls are in as well and be friendly. Maybe some volunteer work could help.

Tinder is even worse than the other dating apps…. Tinder is usually made for hookups, and the chances of finding a relationship on there is low…


I suggest finding someone at work or from mutual friends. I don’t suggest the “at random” method because the chances are also low. Not many women like to be approached at a grocery store when they’re minding their business lol.


I think that if you did some hobbies, and there was a meeting or get together for that hobby, you could meet people there and maybe find a girlfriend.

Dating sites are useless for guys and will destroy your self esteem, ruining the confidence you need IRL.

College used to be a good place to meet women but title nine killed that..
