For me, as a guy, I’m not usually attracted to 45 year old women (or older)… but that could just be bad experiences with these older women that made me wary of it. But 35 can be fine for me. 27+ is probably who I tend to go for, but even then, a lot of them seem so young at times.


When I was 25, or even 30, I wasn’t interested in 35 or 40 year old women. When I was 20, most 30 year old women weren’t attractive to me. I dated older when I was 28ish, and she was horrible. I swore off going for anyone older.


When I was 16, the cheerleaders washing the cars in the summer - wooo yeah! But as 25 year old, no. Not interested. As a 40 year old, I think of them as if they’re kids. No interest in looking - none of that supposed “mid life crisis sneaking a peek type stuff”, either.


Now, I don’t go for anyone under 25. Too young. But 35’s and 40’s been looking a little bit better from my point of view.


Tastes change for all kinds of reasons. You like what you like. As long as it’s not super shallow or hypocritical, it’s not a big deal.

I've seen many older women (40-50s) at my job say they completely aren't attracted to men their own age. Nobody likes old. We haven't evolved to find old people attractive.
