If a person sees the value in you, they will approach you themselves.

The real reason women are more often approached than men is because society places a lot of emphasis on their physical appearance and women comply to it.

Women are taught that if they look good men will swarm at them and then they can have their pick of men..

Most men are not very appearance focused , and most of their other "Valuable" traits that they worked so hard "developing", be it how skillful they are at their jobs or how "Smart" they are or how "Rich" they are... is not visible upfront.

So if you want women to approach you, you need to show them what makes you special and the best pick.

Quickest way to garner attention is to just work on your appearance...

Other ways could be... perhaps showcase your talent in some way... sing, dance, draw, play piano, speak articulately I don't know... it all comes down to showcasing your talent to the person who can see the value in you and your good qualities

I might throw a carrot at a rabbit to get interest but I will not chase the rabbit with a carrot if there is no interest - like I’m okay with chasing a guy if he later chases me or if he chases me twice as hard as I chase him but I’m not willing to do the work of two people when I’m only responsible for doing the work of one. My last guy was extremely shy and scared of woman and I was quickly unsatisfied because I felt like both his therapist and his girlfriend and not just his girlfriend.

One guy I did make the first move for our first kiss, although I did misunderstand his movement and thought he was moving closer to kiss, and he was in fact just turning around cause he wanted to say something xD

I expect the guys to make the first move, I'm not going to chase a guy. But if I'm interested I'll let him know... supposedly men don't pick up on such signals but in my experience they often do. If not, there are others.

That's of course if I'm mildly interested in them, not when I have a big crush. If that's the case there's no way I'm doing anything but look and sound really awkward therefore making it obvious for everyone that I like this person.

Because of the way society makes guys feel about having crushes on girls and how they should behave, I would usually expect the first move from the guy, but I think it's totally fine for the girl to make the first move as well. Guys shouldn't feel pressured or like they need to make the first move. I, in fact, made the first move to a guy I like (who is now my boyfriend).

Naturally I don't but the case has happened where I interacted first without romantic intention (100% no indication of romantic interest)
and ended up dating after they kept moving onto me lol (figure of speech).
