Girls, how often do you make the first move or approach a guy you like?

People say that by default.. If a girl is into you.. She'll make you know she likes you and wait for you to approach her or ask her if you quite know each other.. And that a girl Will approach or make the first move only if she really, really likes the guy... Personally, I get approached by girls lot.. And most of them are very attractive and don't give other guys much attention.. So, it made me wonder if it's fairly common... so, girls how often do you do it? What exactly makes you do it? you never done it at all?

I do not approach guys except as a friend, they will know I’m attracted by my behaviour. Like I might get nervous or shy or over react etc..
