Should I tell him that I had sex with his friend in the past?

Okay important detail first. It was BEFORE we started dating or even knew each other.

So I've started going out with a new guy a few weeks ago. We have been on a couple of dates and had already sex. On Saturday we went out to party and he introduced me to his 2 best friends. I was a bit shocked when I saw them because one of them I knew already. It's a guy I met at a party before covid hit and we hooked up a few times.

It was an awkward situation and I told him that we briefly met before but didn't go into detail. It's a coincidence and shouldn't cause any issues but it makes me feel uncomfortable and I'm unsure if it's better to tell him or not. If I do probably best to do it as early as possible?

I would mention it to him. It doesn't have to be a "thing" or full of drama, just casually mention it. Something like "So you know your friend (whatever his name is), I told you we've met before, I want to be honest with you and want you to know that we also be intimate". Better to hear this from you than him possibly find out from his friend first. Even if he's upset about it (shouldn't be), the fact that your being completely open and honest with him shows respect and honestly. Think if it was reversed. You'd want to hear it from him right?

You should, because the guy will tell him if he didn't already. Better just be honest about it instead of looking sketchy by avoiding it.

If it were a casual friend, I would keep it to yourself. But that is not the case here. Since this is one of his best friends, you should tell him. "Hey, I really like you, but you need to know that I dated Jake a few times 2 years ago and we were intimate a couple of times. There are no feelings there, but it wouldn't be right for me keep that from you."
