Men: if your parents thought you could do better than your girlfriend, would you still keep bringing her around to meet them?

I'd just save up money and move out to a place with her. If I have to struggle to make ends meet anyways it would be far more rewarding to have it be her than my nagging always on my ass parents. Sure they are nice for letting me live without paying rent and all but they really don't know me and what I actually like they give me like too much space. Which goes against my moral code of craving hugs and intimacy.
