Is this situation abuse?

My boyfriend routinely checks my phone (text messages, followers on apps, messages on apps) and reads all my conversations with people, even old ones from years ago. Last night he was on my Instagram and was reading an embarrassing conversation from 5 years ago and I tried to grab my phone out of his hands and he pulled it away and retrained me (he usually does this when I try to take my phone back by holding the phone out of my reach and holding my wrists) but this time I pushed harder to get my phone and somehow my nail broke all the way down to the middle (I have acrylics so these hurt like hell to break) and my finger was bleeding profoundly. He just said I broke it by snagging it on his shirt but acrylics are hard to break, I know I didn’t break it on his shirt, hard to be on something harder but it happened fast so I don't know. What do you think of this?

He will probably beat you in the future... So make sure you are okay with that, otherwise you should get out while you can.
