Is this consider abuse?

My ex husband is to lock me out of the bedroom with his foot on the door so he can FaceTime the girl he was having affair with. I would sometimes sleep on the floor or couch. He did until one night I was trying to hurt myself , he dragged me into the bedroom and body slammed me in to the bed. I left the next day. My son said that this was not abuse. I fine now. But was suffering from a nervous break down. Is this abuse?

That is absolutely abuse, you need to get out of that situation as soon as possible.
I was in an abusive relationship 4 years. It started out hitting me then the "I'm sorry babe," to locking me in a closet keeping me from friends.
I lost my parents at age 19 so they weren't there otherwise they would have noticed something was wrong.
I was strangled to the point of almost passing out many times, I've had broken ribs black eyes I was a prisoner.
No one has the right to put their hands on you esp your husband. Please don't hurt yourself over that man your worth so much more than he is giving you.
I managed to get out and I never went back. I did file charges for abuse and he went to jail for a lousy2 years.
Please talk to someone reach out there is so many people that will give you the help you need.

I would say that that was emotional abuse, yes. And in my opinion you should have left much earlier.
