The way I see it, most people are already carriers, so as long as you aren’t snogging during breakout then you’re okay. And that’s also the same advice I got from people when I asked the same thing. Alternatively you can look for someone to is also chronically symptomatic, but that gets weird to open with telling people that. I’ve gotten farther not telling people. I remains something I feel like I have to be mindful of, which is frustrating. I’ve had it since I was like 10. Is it newly contracted or something you’ve had for a long time?

I know of some people that are allergic to cats and they still have cats... because they are able to manage and control their allergies somehow

I'm not really familiar with these sort of things, but I'd imagine there are ways of overcoming it to some extent. I haven't delved into it but I've seen ads about these things about how to minimize potential issues that mat arise from it. My suggestion would be to read a few articles on it. I'm certain there's very helpful information out there.
