oh man, what a big list, lol.

1. I'm open minded.
2. I listen.
3. I'm always working on making myself a better person.
4. I love people for who they are. My partner will learn that I just want to know them, so I can love them more deeply and truly for who they are.
5. I am trusting.
6. I'm kind of handsome.
7. I'm also kind of rich.
8. I'm also kind of fun; outgoing, adventurous, playful, and flirty.
9. I also have a sense of humor. If you are okay with laughing about life and irony, a little dark and dry humor.
10. I am focused on satisfying my partner sexually. I'm not one of those guys that is done in five minutes, and I like to explore and try new games and ways of connecting and stimulating each other in bed. I take charge, and adjust how rough or gentle I am based on what she wants and needs.

11. I always work on being a better partner; I make an effort to find out what she likes and her love language (s), and do some things to surprise her from different styles of loving.

12. My family is amazing, and anyone who dates me gets to hang out with them; they are very accepting and engaging with my girlfriends (unless I am dating someone who treats them poorly/is a crazy weirdo, but that has only happened like one time, and it was very short)
13. My friends are also pretty amazing. Really anyone who dates me, is getting a great deal on the friends and family package, lol.
14. I don't abuse drugs/alcohol, I use very lightly and irregularly, but have a great time when I do. For instance, I might do ecstasy with a partner for an amazing day of loving and adventure, but I would prefer to be sober for most of our interactions. I also like to have a drink now and again, but again, rarely.
15. I'm healthy: I don't smoke, I exercise regularly, get enough sleep, have social life, read books, eat fresh foods and am aware of what I put in my body.

I listed all those things, but I should add I think at least one downside. Dating me can be intimidating, because I really am a hard worker and do a lot, both in my career and personal life. So it can make a partner feel like they have to also do a lot, which is both true and not true. I don't expect or demand a partner to do all the things I do, I think they can and should have their own interests. I don't mind if she's a bit lazy, wants to eat fast food here and there or lay around playing video games. It's only if the behavior is extreme would I say it's not even that I demand she change but that if she never wanted to participate in anything then our lives might not have enough overlap to justify being together.

Anyway, I have had that feedback before from women that they were worried that they didn't measure up to all the stuff I had going on, and I don't think they understood I don't expect the person I'm dating to be a mirror copy of me. My favorite girlfriends have been the ones who are kind of different and confident doing their own things, as well as having overlap with me on some of the things I enjoy. I like having someone who can show me something new, or maybe even get me to laze about with a pint of ice cream and a video game or movie, or who shows me some creative side of her that I would never have pursued myself.

16. I will help my partner grow if they want to, but I don't require or force them to.
