However, if I'm going to date someone long term, he needs to be financially stable and should be able to support himself. I could be politically correct and say that money does not matter, but it does. Love does not pay the bills. I would date someone who is poor BUT working towards their goal or is hardworking. I'd never date an aimless slacker who depends on me to pay for everything.
If I hear someone say they'd date someone because of that person's financial status I imagine it as a reason to to get to know that person and find out if there's more than money to look for.
Dating in my eyes is getting to know someone and building a relationship slowly with that person. Not just sex. Sure it's sad if a financial gain is the only thing
I don't agree. Women take a huge risk investing years/ and pregnancy into a guy- if he's not able to support/ provide for her she'd be stupid to get involved with him. Now, if her only requisite is that he's "rich" then she's shallow, but not a prostitute- an immoral, spoiled and corrupt creature.

I prefere to pay my own shit but i would not date a lazy man.
Men dont simultaneously say both things. Some men say one thing and some men say the other thing. Decide what goes with your own views and then only date men from that pool. This is what i as a man do as well. The problem i see many women have that men dont have as much is that women are not consistent or principled with how they do this. They like conservative alpha types yet complain why he is not softer or a feminist. Or they date a feminist man and then complain why he doesn't take charge and act in control or be aggressive. Or some other similar thing. Men sometimes do this too but not nearly to the same extent I've seen. @Agagagagaga Thanks. As for old school metal, it could be either a band that came from the 20th century (like Nuclear Assault or Venom) or it can be the way a newer band sounds. Sound wise its somewhat harder to describe. I would chalk it up to production and style of the sound being similar to the early days of a metal subgenre, since music has evolved a lot over the decades.
Wow you go all the way back to Venom. I’m very impressed. I think I know what you mean about the production. Like when I was younger in the 90s I was more into thrash metal—Sepultura, Death, Metallica etc—but their sound is almost too clean and well produced.
Several years ago I discovered Darkthrone and got my mind blown open. I absolutely love their sound. It sounds like a dub tape that someone handed you of their friend’s jam session in a garage some place lol. Very heavy and rough tones.
I’m mostly into Norwegian black metal anymore when it comes to metal music.

Kill em all from Metallica is my fav from them but the one thing I've always said is its too crisp sounding lol. By heart i consider myself a thrasher but i too love the norwegian black metal scene (along with heavy metal, death metal, punk, etc) Bands like Venom and Sodom were kinda like the gateway drug to black metal for me. Then i found Mayhem (the "Freezing Moon" demo with Dead was what i first heard by them) then Darkthrone, Nargaroth, etc. I've spoken to Teloch (current Mayhem guitarist in a youtube live stream before telling him about how he's been a motivation in my own guitar practice and said "sorry man i know that sounds cliche as hell" lol
by the way. I know nargaroth isn't from norway. I just have em as another example of black metal in general lol. Plaag is pretty cool too, they got thrashy elements but lean heavy on the black metal side.
