He asked me out for date but hasn’t follow it through yet. Do I wait for him to bring it up?

He asked me out for coffee after his leg is healed (he broke his ankle) after 6 weeks his leg is healed now. Do I wait for him to contact me?

I feel like it’s upto him to keep his promise and set the date or else I feel like he’s playing me.

on the other hand what if he’s waiting for me to bring it up?

So far we’ve only chatted. I hoped that he would’ve been excited to meet me and scheduled our date as soon as it was possible like he said.

The thing is i think that he let go this idea because he’s late like something happened and be broke his ankle and he’s shy to re ask you out so i say you bring up this matter to him and ask him what’s happening tell him hope he gets better and it doesn’t mean our date is canceled you can that in a way that he will likes
